More information

Note: Prices here are reported in U.S. dollars and generally represent the price from the manufacturer or a direct distributor which sells in the United States. Prices in other countries may not be equal. In the event that no U.S. distributor could be found or they didn't post the price, prices in other currencies have been converted. Prices don't include taxes. Promotions will probably not be reflected. This is a good way to compare prices in general, but it is worth checking prices of units you are interested in directly with manufacturers or distributors. If you have an idea about how this could be improved, we encourage you to contact the devs and let us know.

Languages

Interface Languages

Note: Interface languages are languages for the internal messages of a device. You do not need an interface language to read text in that language if you are using a computer or mobile device, because the screenreader's Braille tables will be used for this purpose. You do not need interface languages to read Braille files such as .brf files, which have already been written in the correct table. You do not need interface languages to read text files on an internal text reader, if present, but you will need Braille languages, which can be selected below.

Note: Braille languages are tables for converting text into Braille which are used by internal editor or reader functions. You don't need them to use the Braille display with a computer or to read files that have already been translated into Braille.
